gavclojak
Morning I am about to worm the girls for the second time in 5 weeks as the first round of worming I found a few worms. I am also about to replace all the flooring in the enclosure, my question is, would you wait until worming is complete before replacing the wood chips? I was going to take up the old wood chip, sanitise the ground then replace the wood chip the next day over the weekend but worming wont be completed until next week Any advice? Chickabee
I'm not sure how long it takes for the wormer to kill the worms and eggs. Are you using flubenvent? Would always do that sort of job in the afternoon as it could interfere with laying
Lavenders_Blue
If I were going to replace all the woodchips then yes, I would do it after worming. However I'd probably chuck a load of Stalosan down and rake it in well. I'm lazy though!
The Dogmother
I usually clear it all out after worming, sprinkle with ground sanitising powder and then put new litter in. Worming usually coincides with when the run needs clearing out.
