soapdragon
Has anyone ever used a brand called Twisted Sista? I found some in a 'bargain' type shop in Abingdon recently and bought a shampoo, a conditioner and a curl activator cream - all only £1.00 each Having used them I went back the following week and bought the remainder of their stock - about 6 of each! Its wonderful and the cream doesn't make the hair stiff, sticky or gloopy but just seems to add condition. Also it washes off the hands really well after you have applied it so presume it washes out of hair to so no build up. I really recommend this for curly, dry hair - seems to reactivate the curl and conditions beautifully! I havn't come across it before (tho have since looked on E bay where it is a bit more expensive) so don't know where else stocks it. The shop in Abingdon often has an odd few things - I think they just buy us surplus stock or stuff with 'old' packaging. It may be meant for Afro/Carribean hair.........but worth a try if you can get your hands on it!
bluekarin
I bought some of this stuff in Tesco. It was reduced so I tought why not? Not a good a price as yours though. I am not sure about it. I may be using too much but my hair does feel a bit sticky. I have the spray and the curl activator cream. I will give it another go when I am not planning to go out (as I usually have hair disasters then ) and see what it's like with a bit less. soapdragon
I used the shampoo and conditioner followed by the curl activator. With the cream I put a 10p sized blob onto my hand then worked that onto my hair with the other hand so it was well distributed (I have short - ish hair but quite thick!) Maybe its a case of finding the right amount for a specific length of hair
