Is my pekin bantam male or female?

Just wondering how many feeders and drinkers you have for your hens?

 

I have 4 medium hens and 2 pekins and they share 1 grub and 2 glugs. Is that about right??

I have 4 pekins in the cube and they have 2 food holders, 1 galvanised metal drinker and a biggish plastic drinker for when I mix up the tonic.

Myrtle, who is on her own but the others are next to her, has her own grub and glug.

Each house and run has one feeder and one drinker for anything between 2 and 6 birds each. Some houses/runs are surrounded by larger netting pens and they also have a drinker in them. There are also odd drinkers dotted about the garden for free ranging. I tend to use gravity feeders/drinkers more than grubs/glugs because you can get more birds around them at once

I have 5 girls, one grub and a glug and 1 gravity water and 1 food container. I also fill a litter tray with water and they love that, they particularly like it when some dirt has gotten in to it for some reason?....weird girls. I also agree with Daphne, if I had just the grub then some of the girls would be left wanting, especially the lower order girls

I have one for water and one for feed in the WIR.....

And about 25 different makes, sizes, and colours that I have decided I needed throughout the years.

I have one glug and two grubs for 5 girls (plus a small feed container & coop cup for water for poor little bullied Layla ).
