Solitary chicken - need advice

I'm searching around for ideas of Christmas presents for OH and came across a day course in Norfolk on how to build a wood-fired cob pizza oven. As I rather fancy one, I wondered about buying it for OH. Anyone been on one? And does anyone know of one in Devon- we have relatives there so could easily stay with them whilst Norfolk is not as easily accessible for us.

Thanks ! Sod's law is that we are away on the 2014 date but I've now found a couple in Wales and possibly one in Hampshire, which is just down the road from us. River Cottage do one, but it is rather expensive....
