Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I haven't been able to peg out washing for ages - and I don't have a tumble dryer

But today, with the weather so sunny, I thought I would take a chance that no-one would light a fire or bonfire.

I didn't peg it out until 1pm though so it probably won't be dry and my garden faces mostly North so not much sun on it either. But never mind, the wind has blown through it and I do love seeing washing blowing about on a washing line.

I love snuggling down into bedding that has been lined dried - just can't beat it! We have a Sheila maid hanging thingy in the utility room and that's where all ours goes over the winter...either that or decorating the radiators!

Yes it's lovely getting the washing out. When I was visiting ED she said the first thing she thinks of when it's a dry day is 'Hang out the washing',she was most perturbed,she said heeeelp I'm turning into my mother

I love hanging the washing out on the line. It's the simple pleasures in life isn't it? I do love the smell of a line of washing hung out to dry. It's so lovely and fresh. I don't have a tumble drier either, so also have washing draped round the house in winter.

I was lucky - the washing almost dried. It just needed finishing off on the radiators.

Now I just have to iron it
