Valkyrie
I'm getting 2 new girls. One is a gold laced orpie. Yes I know, I said no more orpies but that's the one hubby wants - so it's a bribe. Plus I miss the whining. And the other is a French wheaten maran. They are ready for me now, but the garden is so boggy with all the rain I've had to put it off a bit longer. Not much longer I hope! And then I will be able to have more different birds because hubby is happy he's got the goldie. There were methods to my madness.
Redwing
At least you'll be getting one or two eggs with the Maran - not like the 'too posh to push' Orpies!
Sheilaz
Lovely news, hope you don't have to wait too long now. Do tell us more when they arrive.

Valkyrie
Yep, Redders, the orpie is just eye candy with a little bonus now and again. Although so saying that Patchipoos was doing OK rather surprisingly - we had 3 days on and a day off originally and then eventually it was 2 days on and 4 days off - even laid the day before she went to the mealworms on tap in the sky place!
