Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

My Hens have just devoured a whole fish that fell from the sky The whole fish gone in a matter of seconds, skin, bone, everything

 

We live amidst a Gull nesting colony The fish was probably dropped by an adult bird on the way back to the nest. We have a nesting pair on our bathroom roof with 3 young ones

I gave my girls tuna for the first time today & they loved it, but fancy your girls eating the whole of the fish!

The eggs were fine and vey tasty

 

There was a starfish on the patio this morning and a limpet shell

yikes!!

 

I would think you'd have to wear a crash helmet to hang out the washing eh?!?

 

imagine if you had lobsters, crabs etc falling out of the sky....crikey

OH does wear a hard hat when he ventures up to the roof to destroy the nest

Be careful of starfish as I think they are poisonous particularly to furry mammals such as cats.

 

I am not sure how true it is but people are rumoured to have deliberatley poisoned cats with starfish
