I had been trying to set up a new email address in the week and assumed this was to do with that. I did click the link which then took me to a false Yahoo page and asked me to log in. Luckily something raised my suspicions and I realised it was spam.

Lots of hacking at the moment, Yahoo has suffered major hacking twice, last weekend it caught millions of people.

I think that these are working because BT are in the process of moving their BT Yahoo customers to a new account, we have been told that this will happen at some point. I will be very careful what I click on though. We have had our email hacked once, been fine since password change.

Hmmm that's interesting. I had an email from a cousin that looked slightly different from the way it has appeared normally. No details of the email address but sent a website for me to look at. Well being of a sneaky and cautious nature I put part of the link in google but it didn't come up with anything that would imply it was OK or not so I have erred on the side of caution and deleted it. Now if it was OK I'm assuming it would have come with a jokey letter and a love from message. Their email is with Yahoo.

ah I found it - an archways company in Merseyside. Considering they live in Essex then there's something weird afoot there!
