chuckmum6
I shall watch this with interest, as we have two days there as part of the cruise, I am hoping to get to the blue mosque, Topkapi Palace, spice market and grand bazaar. Really looking forward to our holiday!!!!!!

dancing cloud
Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, cruise on the Bosphorus. Be prepared for crowds and to take lots of photos as it really is stunning Women were advised to take a scarf or similar to cover their heads in the mosques. I did, most didn't, and no one seemed to mind, but you might want to chuck a head-covering in, just in case. It rained quite a bit when I was there a couple of years ago in July, so rain shoes and a mac/brolly could be handy too. At least our sun-cream was waterproof
