Pekin frizzle going bald

Recommended Posts

My poor little girl is going bald. It's my Daisybelle and araucana, they peck her every time she goes near them. No blood drawn, just feathers pecked. I do have another coop that she could go in, but she would need a friend. What sort of fiend would you think best. They could free range most of the time. This would leave me with no hospital, but I do have a rabbit hutch :)

Ps. Top of my wish list is an Opie, is the size difference too great?

It was the aracaunas who led me to separate my LF and Bantams. Bumpa bits help for a while but the behaviour returned when they fell off. Easiest thing I found is to run 2 flocks.

By the way, with the help of astw,( and his broodies) Phillip 2nd is likely to become a Dad! Fingers crossed for the end of the week......

Done it, I've moved her and the silkie. They both look quite pleased with themselves. The silkie has actually perched. I've never seen her do this before, guess my perches were too high, or the others wouldn't let her :D . I've put orego stim in their water and given them a handful of black sunflower seeds. Let's hope those feathers come back soon :D
