They're slowly discovering the garden, but haven't found the grass yet...

 

 

My ladies need a little booster seat.

 

 

My cat does try a bit of interaction, but the girls are not impressed.

 

 

They first check the weather before venturing out.

 

 

Colours of the chooks and Up clash a bit... Didn't keep that in mind when ordering the purple Up.

How old are your lovely girls? They look quite young, I had forgotten how sweet they look before they get to POL.

They are about three months, so still quite young. And cute!

lovely set up and they do look cute mine are also young just started laying such lovely personailties ... I'm thinking of getting the up not because i need it i just want it ,,,

Nice! What breed of chickens do you have?

Mine won't be laying for another month or two, so that first "homegrown" egg will take some time, but in the meantime I'm enjoying my three little rascalls.

Does your garden still look as nice as the pics? Have the chickens scratched it all up yet?

I like the look of the Up but such a shame the ladder is slippery. I'm reluctant to spend that dosh for a slippery ladder. Lovely girls you have, they look so sweet.

So far they have trimmed the grass a bit, grazed on a patch with wild strawberries. Nothing else will grow there, so not a real problem. They've made a sand pit behind my ferns. They've flattened my onions. And snipped the lower branches of my grape.

But nothing too serious or irreparable... Yet...

 

Apart from the ladder, so far still no other downsides to the Up. And the slippery ladder is very easy to fix.
