Eggshell
I'm thinking of putting some French marigold in the chicken patch because it's meant to be good against insects. Just wanted to check it's not harmful to chickens if they decide to eat it. Does anyone know?
Chickabee
Just looked it up. Apparently they're not toxic for humans but are for dogs and cats. Not sure I'd chance it

jimnpaula
Marigold petals are sometimes used in chicken feed as a yolk colour enhancer, don't know if the rest of the plant is ok though. A discussion here about it: http://www.theeasygarden.com/threads/guess-what-marigolds-and-chickens.5927/
