Chickabee
I posted yesterday about letting my silkie share a coop with my broody sitting on some eggs. They have always been best friends. I opened the coop this morning to let twinkle out as usual and thought nothing of it. This afternoon I went to check on dazzle. I do this several times a day. They are sharing sitting on the eggs dazzle has given twinkle 2 eggs and they are huddled up together. Twinkle isn't even due a broody, or maybe she was on the verge. Anyway they both look very happy

I get rid of the debris ASAP and hope they'll forget about it I also have an 8 month old labrador egg eater
jeshen
Sweet! Birthing partners! When I visited Andy Cawthray's, http://thechickenstreet.wordpress.com/ I was astonished when Andy pointed out three pekin hens who were sharing a single chick! They had all shared the sitting-on-the-egg and the raising of the chick and went about as a foursome. Very funny to watch.
