Mel (& Paul)
Same goes for my singing (that would be my one wish, I dont care about being stick thin or beautiful or rich (well maybe...) but I WISH I had a brilliant singing voice! We stick our tree in the conservatory which is off the lounge - that way the dogs cant get at the presents / baubles. Its not that they would play with them but, knowing Charlie, he would probably want to eat them.... and Blue would try to get to the top of tree....... boing boing boing......... Louise
when chips was a kitten he liked to climb it but he didn't do it last year I just hope he has grown out of the bauble stealing but I doubt it My tree has to go up in the lounge as the conservatory is too cold with no heating and it doubles as a green house this time of the year
Mel (& Paul)
that's the advantage of a fake tree - our conservatory isnt heated either, but we store our lemon and lime trees and chilli plants over the winter. Each time the sun shines Charlie stands at the door looking pathetic as the conservatory is his favourite place. We let him out. He stands there for a minute and then comes back in as if to say. "I dont understand. The sun is shining but it is SO cold ) and then he flops in front of the fire
The Dogmother
My cat Millie managed to bring down a 6 foot Christmas tree when she was a tiny kitten! I was woken in the night by a tremendous crash!

The Dogmother
I like that Lesley, a woman after my own heart. Phil just says 'yes' - it's easier! Anyway, he can't have a tree at his house with all the rubble etc, so he comes to admire mine. Edited November 29, 2005 by Guest
