Cat tails Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Anyone ever used the HG glasses cleaner? It comes in a tall spray bottle and should clean your glasses and also coats them with some anti fog stuff. I started using this stuff somewhere in August. After a few months my glasses are completely covered in little tiny scratches. According to my optician, the alcohol in the spray is affecting the anti-mirroring coating on my glasses. I'm really surprised but also very angry. The HG customer service has not been helpfull at all! They just keep saying they would have received more complaints by now. Valkyrie Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 I have anti-fog wipes that come in little resealable sachets and can be used a few times. Other than that I do have spray that smells lovely but after prolonged use it gets the speccies a little ragged round the edges. But then if my prescription isn't changed often I suppose wear and tear and probably perspiration doesn't help. Scratches probably my fault as I chuck them down anywhere.
