More dodgy Emails - itunes

Recommended Posts

Talking of dodgy emails my husband received one today - it looked just like an iTunes receipt. Luckily he asked me if I had used his account before he clicked on the link!

It looked very very similar to a real iTunes receipt, but there was a link in it saying if you haven't made this purchase, click here to change your password.

So beware! The real receipts don't have that message in them!

I remember getting one of those a while back - I don't have itunes so off it went to the junk immediately. Lots of postmaster ones being issued at the moment and daemon link things - your mail couldn't be delivered. Mostly that is supposed to be sent emails ohhh yeah, seems I've sent a few rejects - NOT! I guess it won't be long before some are referring to parcels. Perhaps they have been able to catch a few and prevent them from sending because I had such a lovely long break from them as at long last the busty Russian blondes got fed up with me and so did the meds. Although I do have some sheds and wood working things pop in. :? Only one or two sneaking through a week. Now it's back to 20 a day at least! And sorry, sounds like I'm smoking there!

My main problem is emails purporting to be from BT, every month I get one saying there has been a problem paying my bill (and looking pretty genuine), however now I'm getting 3 or 4 various 'BT' ones a week.

I've noticed that my spam emails seem to coincide with when I've used my Paypal account, which is a bit of a concern.

After my initial worry about the BT bill ones I realised our account is not registered at my email address so now I just forward them to the BT spam address and then delete them.

Something is wrong. It's quiet . . . to darned quiet . . . I've not had a single junk thing this morning - usually it happens overnight so I'm guessing it's mostly from the US. :anxious:

I did however get a newsletter from a quilt shop (which I subscribe to) and they sell off extra fabric bolts when they are clearing up for new stock! Ohhhhh myyyyy! Maybe I should delete that one before hubby wonders why all his pension has been spent!!!
