Chickabee
My new chicks are going to be almost identical. I want each of them to have equal amounts of my attention as they will be raised under a lamp. Can I use nail varnish or is that too pungent. I would only need a tiny blob. Beantree
Danger is they will peck at anything out of the ordinary. Traditionally they used to clip the webs on the feet! Don't know what to suggest Chickabee.
mimi5
What about a "tiny" dot of food colouring on the back of the head, obviously not red!!!! Or just lavish them with love........you do know chick watching is obsessive and you will get nothing much else done
miller30
I wouldn't mark them with anything just in case it causes pecking issues leanne
Chickabee
I don't think I will. Didn't even occur to me about pecking .

Lewis
Leg rings? I wouldn't worry about giving them equal attention they're not children and won't get jealous, just enjoy having them.
Chickabee
I'm determined to make these as friendly as possible. These are incubator reared. My last chicks were reared by my Pekin frizzle. She was a bit neurotic plus the chicks were cream legbars
