Chickabee
As my chicks haven't been vaccinated, should I be using medicated feed?
mollyripkim
I used medicated chick crumb for my unvaccinated chicks that hatched last year.

Beantree
As far as I am aware medicated chick crumb contains a treatment against coccidiosis and that's it. The only time we use medicated crumb is when they are reared outside before 6 weeks. It does noticeably inhibit their growth rate as well, although it appears to balance out in time.
