I'm nervous and excited. I have stayed injury free and kept my training plan running.

 

Have had a rest day yesterday and today to make sure my body is ready tomorrow.

I smashed it!!

 

Was aiming got just under 2 hours, I did it in 1hr 32min 26secs.

 

I pushed myself to my physical limits and am knackered now

 

Amazing though as three of my friends from the Tri club came to support me they really helped

I have a friend who marshals at tri events, and who runs although I know how hard she finds it. I also know how much strength she gets from her fellow running club members.

Massive congratulations to you SpaceChick, you have done brilliantly, you are a braver woman than me I have been asked to take the cycling leg on a team tri, but not feasible from Portugal and not sure I'd be good enough anyway. Well done again
