How do I post ohotos

If using a computer, left click on the IMG or IMG thumb and it should highlight (turn blue) all the link, then right click and 'copy'. Then you can just 'paste' the link in the message box on the Omlet forum. This will automatically put the "IMG" tags around the link.

(I seem to remember that photobucket used to automatically copy the link if you clicked on it but maybe I've turned that off.)

Hope that helps!

Thank you jimnpaula. I didn't get anywhere in the end, I think because my computer is playing up big time and the iPad app doesn't work for Photobucket. I was having the biggest toddler tantrum, I can tell you  OH was laughing at me! It's amazing how many hours you can spend on these dratted machines sometimes, especially when it's all going wrong  Will try again tomorrow if computer has stopped doing its trillion updates!

Hmm, on the ipad you might be able to do what I suggested if you look at photobucket in the web browser, instead of using a dedicated app. To highlight you need to press and hold, it will either copy automatically or give you the option to copy, then go to Omlet message and press and hold to paste.

(Sometimes I think dedicated apps make things more difficult - as an ebay seller we see so many things that wouldn't have happened if people were using an internet browser instead of an app, like there's no "add to basket" so someone wants 6 different things/colours from us they have to buy everything indivdually! :wall: )

Then you must still have the iOS 7 on your iPad. Since the update the Photobucket website has become impossible. It won't let you copy the links of the pictures. App still works, but I find it too annoying, because it will start uploading ALL my photo's to the app, making it super slow...

Photobucket does work much better in the Chrome browser app on the iPad.

Photobucket is just a nightmare these days. I've been using my dynamic cloud server for photos for a while now. It's actually superb value through 1&1 and I've been very impressed with the service. There's plenty of capacity and I have instant access to my pictures when I need to use them in my online store. I'd certainly recommend it as an alternative. Take a look.
