Hi all,

i haven't posted in years, thought i had this mostly figured out... Now for the first time i bought some pullets rather than PoL hens. they are poppy, a speckled sussex, daisy, a light sussex, and buffy, a buff sussex. They are about 10weeks old now. The breeder told me they wouldn't moult this season, but they seem very fluffy an losing feathers. Is this normal at that age? They look healthy, i can see no sign of crawly things on their skin, and they have DE in their dust bath.

Buffy has no tail feathers, the other 2 have a few poking out, they look like they got their wing feathers, but on chest and back their feathers are adult couloured but downy textured, very light, blowing in the slightest breeze.

Thank you for you help,

Spott

Ps: relly need to update my signiture, lol
