The brightest of blessings to you all at Midsummer

 

 

Midsummer gives us the longest day and shortest night

the shortest dark and longest light

the sun is at it's maximum power

encouraging from the earth many a flower

as these flowers blossom and bloom

our hopes and dreams will come all too soon

the earth is glowing green and bright

the sun ascends with warmth and might

all around us light and life are growing

we feel our strength and creativity flowing

I always try to bake something yummy and take a nice long walk on the Summer and Winter Solstice.
