chuckmum6
Going to get my ES result today, he seems utterly unfazed by it all, I just really hope his hard work has paid off! A new phase is dawning, as my little boy is really growing up, hopefully he will be off to the local sixth form to do A levels. Good luck to all those off to collect their results too!!! chickencam
Our YD got 2 A's, 3 B's & 5 C's which unfortunately was one point short of getting into her current school's 6th form, she has however got a place at her second choice which is another grammar school but quite a bit further away from home. We have submitted an appeal to her school and it seems quite likely that she will make it in, so fingers crossed. She was very worried about her results, she cottoned on to hard work about 18 months too late but worked hard for the term pre exams. She was convinced that she had failed quite a few so we are relieved that she has passed everything and still got a place at a good school, to honest probably a more progressive one than her current one. A time for us parents to breath again, well done all
bluekarin
Well done to your kids! Fantastic results. My DS got an A*, 4 As,4 Bs and a C. Sadly didnt get an A in chemistry so he has to chose a different subject - hoping to get politics but seems this is a popular one. An early start at school tomorrow to go through his options. Thankfully he has gotten into the 6th form at his school as he didnt apply anywhere else *phew*! YD also got her first three results, which was a B in English, C is RS and C in Statistics which is brilliant! She was having a tough time when these exams were on, so the fact she has passed at all is wonderful. Just got the rest to do at the end of next year!
