Chickabee
I think a lot of you will know that Dazzle my Lavender Pekin Frizzle holds a special place in my heart. After hatching and rearing the moorhens this year I have tried to reinstate her in my flock. Since she's been away my pullets have grown up a lot and have begun to lay. As soon as they see Dazzle they all corner her and peck her at once. This means that I'm having to leave her in the stable during the day on her own. It's large with lots of perches, I go in and out all day and feed her various treats, but I don't know if this is right. Her friends sleep with her from dusk and stay til late morning. I could try putting her in with the ducks ? Any ideas
mullethunter
That is tricky. Do you not want any more? I'm thinking you could get a young bantam to be friends with her?
Chickabee
I did think about trying to get another frizzle or maybe a Pekin. Trouble is what she really wants is babies
