gavclojak
I am tres excited, I am off to Bath, I am staying in The Manor House hotel and we have transfers into Bath for the Christmas market for the afternoon/evening and for the night we are going to "The Bybrook" restaurant. My lovely boss gave me a hotel voucher and that has all but paid for this so am very lucky. If anyone has any tips for the Christmas market I would love to hear them? soapdragon
My tip.....buy, buy, buy FIL used to live very close to Bath but, sadly, we never made it to the market. Apparently its brill and the Abbey is wonderful too. I do love Bath....the only city that I could live in! If you have time during the day then do visit the Royal Crescent - No 1 is open to the public and well worth a beak! The 'top' of the town is great...little lanes to explore and, if you fancy a pub lunch, try The Green Tree in Green Street but be there early...easy to find and central! Have a fab time
gavclojak
Ah thank you. I have to say I have been very spoilt, OH took me on my first visit to Bath for valentines weekend, we did all the "tourist' bits including the wholly trolley (tourist bus) but obviously not the Christmas market. I am excited just to get away x
patsylabrador
Have a great time. I love Christmas Market and Bath is nice and big, I like it if you feel absorbed by them. Check out all the surrounding shops because they become part of it.
