daphne_and_polly Posted January 13, 2016 Share Posted January 13, 2016 gerbil was attacked by her sister yesterday - several bites and she was barely conscious when we got her out of the cage. Through the day, with lots of hot water bottles etc she seemed to improve an was drinking and taking sunflower seeds, but this morning she isnt responsive and, although breathing (shallowly and slowly) has turned on her back with her paws in the air.
