Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Actually it's the Quail egg (don't tell the Mods). I phoned the breeder this morning to ask if he had any idea why my girls weren't laying yet. He was a bit baffled, suggested change of food more light, and see what happens. Well low and behold the same day one of them laid. I'm over the moon. The ducks have just started laying too. I've got so many different size colour and shape eggs, it's lovely. Just need blue and green now
