Ham6506
Has anyone ever repainted a Cube once the colour has faded? In one of the promotional videos I heard mention of being able to order replacement panels but from what I understand the Cube will now only be available in Green and Purple. Just wondering whether it could be painted?
Patricia W
I wouldn't bother. My green cube has faded, but just blends into the garden better. My blue one is ancient and hasn't faded. Neither has my friend's purple cube. Not sure paint would cover the plastic anyway. Some people have jazzed theirs up with decals if you did want a change. Ham6506
I love to keep the garden looking clean and although the 'blended in' look is probably popular, my initial attraction to the cube was the bright colour it would add to the garden. I bought a green one (as the orange is no longer available) and although its new now I don't think I'll like it when fades. I'll explore the option when the time comes. Luvachicken
from what I understand the Cube will now only be available in Green and Purple. I just looked in their shop and it does seem that they are only doing the 2 colours when you click on the cube But they obviously haven't updated the rest of their page because lower down it does say available in 6 colours Such a shame. I don't know how much they fade and if you can paint them. Mine is lilac and still looks pretty good.
The Dogmother
Some colours fade more than others, and it depends on where they are sited as well. I wouldn't recommend painting one, although Lesley (former forum member) once painted flowers on hers
