What makes a chicken coop easy to live with?

I am in the process of organising a 3-month internship starting early January 2017 near Ellesmere, Shropshire, and am trying to get my head around finding suitable accommodation for during this period. The internship is a requirement by the funding body for my PhD, and there is some financial assistance available, although not a huge sum. I am not from near Shropshire, and currently live in Norwich, so it would therefore be necessary for me to relocate during that period. Ideally I'd need somewhere I could live for the whole 3 month duration, potentially just renting a room in someone's house/flat/annex and wondered whether anyone had any experience of doing this and could help advise.

 

I could use Spareroom.com, or possibly Air BnB, but these are often for too long, or too short a stint. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Try asking the company - they might know what their previous interns (if they had any) did

Perhaps have a look online and see what the local paper contact details are so that you can place an ad asking for a room or space for the period? Equally, they may have an accommodation section with rental details.

My ED used spare room to find her room in Bristol, she lives with a lovely young couple and two huge cats. The cats chose her . Her tenancy was for 6 months but there were shorter ones available. Might also be worth checking out some of the holiday sites like owners direct, people may have small holiday flats or houses available for longer lets especially in the winter when you will be there. You often see available for longer lets on request and it makes sense to have a place occupied and heated in the winter.
