Chicken bald back

Feeling ridiculously sad that we are having to take one of our sable poot bantams to be put to sleep later today

She's been under the weather for awhile and vet thinks it's probably an age related disease and he advised PTS. Bought her home over the weekend but she's not improving so taking her back to vets

She's such a little character and will be missed by her sister chicken as they seem inseparable xx

They really do become part of the family non chicken keepers don't get that they have their own personalities xx

Sorry to hear this. I never thought in a million years that 8 weeks down the road of having chickens I would be so attached to them...as I am with all animals I'm afraid. They are wonderful creatures and have such characters.

They do have such great characters although having kept chickens for 7 years we've had a few less than lovable !!!!

This is the first time we've had to decide to PTS on vets advice. We've probably been very lucky that other have just passed very quickly X
