I have just acquired two exbatts and need some help with a good supplement and where I can buy some layer crumble or mash which I can make into a warm mix with water. Maybe it isn't necessary? Cat tails Posted December 10, 2016 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Layers mash isn't something that you need to mix with water. It is nothing other than the pellets in a sort of powdery consistency. sjp Posted December 10, 2016 Share Posted December 10, 2016 pellets are basically mash that's been put through an extruding machine if you need to get the new ones to get used to pellets just crush the pellets up like you would biscuits to make the base of a cheese cake i.e put some in a bag and bash them up with a rolling pin a feed bag will done not to much through as they'll go a bit dusty mix some pellets in with the mash through not sure about supplements other than life guard tonic but that'll depend on if you can get it in France Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
