Cat tails
I have no experience with chicks at all. But if they're this poorly, I would contact a vet. Any of the others here would need a bit more info I think. How old are they? Are they under a brooder or with a hen? What are they fed? smartrus
Hi. They are off heat now and have been outside for a while doing fine. Not sure why they have become poorly! We feed them a mixture of layers and chick crumb.
Lewis
Sorry to hear your chicks are unwell, how are they doing today? What age are they and did you hatch them yourself? Are they vaccinated? They're really non specific signs. If they are still chicks they should be on chick crumb, no layers pellets, and maybe even medicated crumb at that. There are a whole host of things it could be but for hunched chicks with diarrhoea I would be thinking Coccidiosis and with Sebrights looking at Mareks.
