Chickabee
I have had magpies going into my cat/ Quail stable for months. I thought there was no food available for them. However, today I filled up my cat food container and secured the lid. The first time I returned I thought I hadn’t secured it properly. It’s hard to undo. The second time it was undone again. The magpies are more clever than me, they can undo it, I don’t know how
Sarelis
Corvids are ridiculously intelligent, I watched a program some time ago where they set them various tasks and puzzles - they sussed each one out in no time. There was even footage of wild crows dropping walnuts onto pedestrian crossings, they let the cars run over them to crack them and when the lights changed and traffic stopped swooped down to eat the nuts
Chickabee
I too have seen these programmes, but I find it difficult to open this plastic container. It was opened twice, I was amazed, almost to the extent that, they deserved it. Wish I had a camera in there. Perhaps that’s my new project
Sarelis
We recently got cctv after a vehicle was damaged outside our house, I mainly use it to spy on my cats and check for foxes lol (oh and see who's at the door when I can't be "Ooops, word censored!"d to get up!) The Dogmother
A gamekeeper friend's son has a tame jackdaw, which he has had since a chick; it is amazingly bright and can do loads of tricks.
