Janey4
A bit of advice please...…! My Mum has a huge pile of Rhododendron branches that have been cut down from her garden and in a pile for quite some time (2/3+ years)…..would these be suitable to add interest/perches to my walk in run or is it a no-go, as Rhododendrons are poisonous? Thanks x
Patricia W
They won’t grow in my soil so I don’t know. But in my experience chickens don’t eat plants that are poisonous to them. Unfortunately that means they eat most of the plants in my garden given half a chance! Edited June 14, 2018 by Patricia W

Mine devoure tomato and potato plants given a chance. Same with any other plants that supposed to be poisonous. They even stripped a foxglove bare when I didn’t pay attention. Natspringy
Mine are like cat tails's. The amount of times I've wrestled ivy off them! They do leave the potatoes though. But can't imagine they'd eat perches... That said mine have tried to eat rubbers, stickers, cardboard; anything is fair game!
