Rhododendron branches?

Recommended Posts

A bit of advice please...…!

My Mum has a huge pile of Rhododendron branches that have been cut down from her garden and in a pile for quite some time (2/3+ years)…..would these be suitable to add interest/perches to my walk in run or is it a no-go, as Rhododendrons are poisonous?

Thanks x

They won’t grow in my soil so I don’t know. But in my experience chickens don’t eat plants that are poisonous to them.  Unfortunately that means they eat most of the plants in my garden given half a chance!

Hahaha funny! Mine devoure tomato and potato plants given a chance. Same with any other plants that supposed to be poisonous. They even stripped a foxglove bare when I didn’t pay attention.
