Suziwoo Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Got home from work/school, went out and let the girls out straight away. Had a little chat with them and a stroke or two. My elderly neighbour called me over the fence and we were busy chatting away when my eldest daughter thought she would look in the egg hatch and hey presto - there was our first egg. I'm sure he thought we were quite strange as we started jumping about (our version of the egg dance) and called my youngest out to join in. My neighbour actually delighted in it all and went to get his wife and then went on to tell me how he used to keep chickens and ducks in the garden many years ago and has a book on small holdings if I would like to read it etc etc. (loves a chat) We are very excited and think Dippy laid it because of the colour!!
