Happened to walk into a pub just off the sea front "The Crazy Scot" only to find the place absolutely "Heaving" with people, strange for a Tuesday afternoon in February, turns out that the landlord is "defying the Smoking Ban", just paying the fines every so often, with money from customer donations, cost nearly £17,000 so far. When I was Anfield a few weeks ago there were fan protests, the players were not motivated, the manager was clearly unhappy. I wasn't complaining, literally falling over in excitement with the point! It seems like a similar situation to Ronaldinho at Barcelona, a player the club describes as 'injured', then the player comes out publicly and say 'I'm not injured', then a few weeks later 'play me or I am gone'. I thought the whole Mourinho thing was about that he didnt like or want shevblanko and roman wanted him. Now Jose has gone and he still isnt being played - but Avram Grant (I still cant get used to saying or typing his name! ) still isnt playing him either - but Roman cant get rid of him cos he's his best mate and all that! Sheva will be gone in the summer, shame because we never really got to see the best of him cos he isnt played enough to get any consistency. I do rate Ballack though, top quality player and an excellent captain in JT's absence (much better than lampard), he may be in his twilight years as a player but the quality still shines through for me. John Terry doesn't seem to turn up these days, although he did manage to get on today with the aid of a zeemerframe! (spelling?) He'll need to start wearing a helmet like check, ankle boxes, knew boxes, he is such a cripple! It is a shame about Shevchenko, maybe you could do a swap with Milan involving Ronaldo? He's a quality player, at the twighlight period of his career (imminent ending due to injury) and is always on the treatment table. Ticks all the criteria! I think you will get about £12million at the most for Shev, "Ooops, word censored!"ody will pay £30 million anymore. Oh yer, is Crespo coming back to you at the end of the season or has he signed permanently now. I have to admit that he was the best 'non-villa' player I have ever seen at Villa Park, amazing! Since his back injury and then head injury in the CC final he is not the same player and I hate saying that because he is/was my favourite player at Chelsea. Didnt know that about Crespo he is also quality, never forget that last minute winner against wigan! He needs good wingers though as to me he is purely a "striker" and doesnt add so much to the play/physical side as Drogba, he worked well with an on form Robben. So with SWP he should get some goals. I dunno about the england captaincy martin, it wouldnt bother me if Terry was stripped of it, I dont enjoy watching England as much as club football - I find it dreary and dull, lets hope matey livens us up a bit - but I doubt that very much being Italian - more like score 1 and shut up shop! The VIP area is at Villa park is not far from my seat and I have seen Capello twice and Franco Baldini twice and Stuart Pearce 3 times since Capello has taken over and they have all come seperately, even Brian Barwick has become a season ticket holder at Villa (sort of) Capello just has something magical about him, when he leaves the England job I would like to see him take a job with one of the big four. However I don't want Martin O'Neil to leave. So Alex Ferguson, "Ooops, word censored!"ne Wenger or Rafa Benitez will have to leave! Mutu is still knocking around in the Italian league but he has all sorts of licensing problems and he also goes around under a pseudonym! I said that was the best goal I have ever seen at Villa Park, well all in all. I couldn't choose between these 2 for the best I have EVER seen. It's 5-0 against "Ooops, word censored!"nal so you can watch it all it averages at a goal per minute but the specific goal is at 4 minutes, Henry. Gerrard with that one. Stunning!
