ajm200
Tonight two of the little Pekins, that I got on Thursday, let me pick them up at the same time and hold them in one hand so I could open the greenhouse door. They made no fuss at all. Realising I need to “greenhouse door. Later, I heard a really weird noise coming from the coop, oud enough to be heard over the traffic on the main road 60ft away, when I checked it was one of the little ones is purring herself to sleep. Never heard a big chicken do that. Think I love Pekins 😍 Have video but don’t know how to add it
Luvachicken
Pekins are definitely the best 😊 I did have a Wyandotte once who had been ill and kept indoors for a few days. She had an afternoon in the crate on the grass with a seed tray of soil, on one of her ill days, that she decided to dust bath in, and I have never heard such loud purring. She loved it. Can't say I've heard it so loud from a Pekin yet.
