Steven
Help needed. I have 4 Pekin Bantams around 5 months old. To me they look in between a hen and a rooster and I'm having trouble sexing them. Probably as I am a novice keeper. Can anyone help with advice? Cat tails
Although I can’t really see them all properly, they look a lot like cockerels to me... the sweeping tail feathers are a good sign, plus the have A LOT of wattle and comb for 5 months. mullethunter
At 5 months I’m afraid they all look very much like boys to me.
The Dogmother
From the left... boy, girl, boy, can't see the last one.
mullethunter
I agree that the second one is hen shaped, and that they all mature differently, but this is my pekin hen at 5 months. Are yours definitely that age?
