Cats&Chickens
Anyone know if any issue with using concrete/sanded perch for chickens? The type for large parrots thanks
Cat tails
I see no problem other than the price... my chickens have a branch I saved from a large shrub and some left over pieces of timber.
Cats&Chickens
They have wood perches also, this is sanded to keep claws files and hopefully avoid build Up on their feet. Run is so muddy even with woodchip....
Cat tails
Best to invest in a drier and less muddy run than in expensive perches. Make sure you have good (clear plastic) covers on your run. If possible, place your run on paving slabs. You can get cheap ones on things like gumtree/preloved etc.

I agree with Cat tails as damp, muddy feet can cause problems for the chickens.
