chuckmum6
I have a new mini flock and my little gold partridge Wyandotte, has increasingly been scratching both sides of her head. I noticed this early on and have seen it increase over the week, I have looked in her ears and around her head and can see nothing untoward, like lice etc. I will have her in again tonight to look more closely in her ears, but I am not too sure what to do with her. I might try a little warm oil on a cotton bud? She is otherwise fine and behaving normally. Any ideas most welcome.
Cat tails
You could treat her with something like Ivermectin to get rid of any creepy crawlies.
Tillachooks
I’d probably go with some xeno drops as more likely to be parasitic than anything else I’d have thought
mullethunter
I’d be going ivermectin too.

chuckmum6
Yep, I did buy her some ivermectin, just in case, although she has now stopped fortunately. I had given her tiny drops of warm oil in her ears, which seems to have sorted it or dislodged something!
