Cinnamon
I have some Broad Beans ready to sow, but need some advice. Do they need supporting as they grow? My Pea area has just been re stocked with early Peas, but I have my Runner Bean wigwam free - will that do as a support for them? daj198
Do you sow them straight outside then?

Snowy
I sowed some broad beans about a week ago - straight outside. I didn't realise they would need support But they are shooting away already! I've made a little cloche out of off cuts of corrugated clear plastic from the chicken run roof. I also sowed some winter hardy spring onions and they are also sprouting! It took ages for the spring planted ones to germinate
