moving the cube - please help with advice!

Recommended Posts

ours travelled from Rossendale to Widnes in cardboard boxes in the boot of the car and never made a sound! I think when they're in the dark, they go into roost mode.

Perhaps move it first thing in the morning, before they're fully awake and they probably won't even notice.

Are you having to move it far? If it's only a short distance then I wouldn't worry unless you're moving it over cobblestones or something?

what's your alternative if somebody said no anyway?

We moved our girls in their Cube a couple of weeks ago. We waited until they had gone to bed, shut the door, and then just wheeled them round to their new site. There was the odd noise from inside during the move, but they were fine next morning when we opened the door.

Thanks christian, I'm debating whether to move mine round or make a perm run area, I move the eglu once a week which seems ok for the lawn (well takes 3/4 weeks to recover but it does!) but I find it really dfficult to move. But the cube sounds quite easy!
