chicklit
Exciting day today because one of our chooks has presented us with her first egg weighing 41g. Not quite sure who it was but I think it was Charlotte (Miss Pepperpot) because she began crouching at the weekend when I touched her back. Can't believe the way it happened though. Each day I have been out there before and after work. Letting them out to free range, talking to them, giving them treats, checking for eggs and generally being their adoring slave. Today after work I went straight to visit my daughter and my OH attended to the chooks and lo and behold HE found the egg sitting on the perching bars. Beauty-Box
We had our first egg boiled and cut in two, it was small but delicious! They are so much nicer than shop bought eggs. You can taste the difference. Enjoy the egg!
