Bloomin' 'eck....the police helicopter is swooping around and around overhead at the mo! It is so low that it is almost touching the tree tops.

 

Have just been out talking to Bert who is rebuilding my drystone walls and we could practically see the colour of the pilots eyes!!

 

I don't know what is going on in Sheffield at the mo but it is rather worrying to put it mildly.

We had a helicopter over the fields behind our house one evening complete with search beams. Very scary. But it all turned out to be quite innocent. A woman was walking her dog when she slipped and fell into the ditch, breaking her leg. She was reported missing and the helicopter was searching for her - and found her. If it hadn't she may not have survived. It was really cold and she was lying in cold wet mud.

We're often woken up by the police chopper hovering over town in the night - part of a Saturday night out in Banbury.

 

I used to work in an office which was on the flightpath for Brize Norton RAF base - things could get a bit low sometimes

Some of the typo's in the newspaper have to be seen to be believed.

 

They seem to have a thing about the word "of".

 

"Couldn't of"

 

"Shouldn't of"

 

etc.
