Egluntyne
Good idea.....or you could upgrade to a cube and have two nest boxes!
feemcg
........ah, but they will all still want to use the same nest Mine have a choice of 2 eglu nests and a cube nest, which is supposed to fit 2 or 3, and they all line up to lay in the one spot
CockADoodleDoo
good point fee???? i think ill shut the eglu door for a few days so they get used to laying in the one i build and i will also stratch the straw into the shape of 2 of three nests and put an egg in each so they think they are laying in the same nest as someone else
Helly Welly
We have a cube and they'll only lay at one end of it so they stll fight over it
Snowy
Mine too! I've had 2 sat side by side, widthways across the cube nest box!
xChicken04x
Our girls insist on having one at a time in the nesting box even if that means laying on the ladder (it has been known.) The girls are getting another nesting box for Christmas. Its going to be one of these: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8702410/Trail/searchtext%3EPET+CARE.htm I know its a litter tray, but still, it will do the trick. xx
Helly Welly
Would that really work? I have a spare cat carrier, looks the same as that cat loo. I might put it in the run and see if it works.
