Egluntyne Posted December 29, 2007 Share Posted December 29, 2007 If you switch off and switch on again it might just reappear in its usual place. The draggy thing that Cinnamon mentions works. I always have to have a few goes as i never seem to be able to "catch" the bloomin' thing. It used to happen a lot with our previous computer. Geoid Posted December 29, 2007 Share Posted December 29, 2007 If you cant find it, press the "windows" Key, to bring up the start menu, right click on a empty bit of the start menu. A properties button should appear, click on it. Then a new window should appear called "Taskbar and Start menu properties" click on the tab that says "Taskbar" then select the option that says "Lock the taskbar" then press ok, then the taskbar should re-appear Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd done my usual trick of rebooting to avail, and had tried the 'lock the taskbar', but it did nothing, but a siomple press of F11 did the trick!
