But I have the green feeder for the run and the chickens eat put of it no problem but they peck the top of it a lot, I'm just wondering if this is normal behaviour? Some chickens will peck at objects or surfaces. One of my hens does this too. Sometimes at the metal ladder which will make a funny sound. Nothing much to worry about.
