Snowy
Oh my, Snowy! You are an anorak! Nice to know though! Not that I would ever write down the names of who has laid everyday and teach the neighbours to do the same when we are away Normally the neighbours don't bother but last week I had to go to away for the day, so my best mate stayed to look after the boys. When I got home she had collected the eggs for me, weighed them and written the weight and date on in pencil. She hadn't put the names on them though
Guest
DH had it poached on toast today and sadly, no, it wasn't a dble yolker The infamous dble yolker has eluded us so far. The next big one is mine though, I let hubbie have it today (before it was cracked open so I am generous)
lozkate
We had a 98g double yokker egg a couple of weeks ago from one of our girls and she obviously struggled as it had blood on the shell anyway yesterday she produced another at 98g without any problems! nicki9
Our two gingernuts average 80g eggs each day , trouble is the other eggs look so small by comparison - they are not, they average 60g. you soon forget how sizes work compared to shop boughts! Anyway, they are all delicious!
little chickadee
We had a double yoker the other week and it really does make your eyes water to think of it! Especially when they don't even come close to the leader board! Good luck getting a double next time Poet
pommedays
OMG, we've just collected the biggest egg ever.. an impressive 83grs! Have just added it to our egg basket and it completely dwarfs the shop bought "large" eggs! We're hoping it will be our first double yolker.. we'll have to wait till breakfast to find out Celine
xChicken04x
Congrats We have had a few double yolkers in our time. Once Missy our white star who lays tiny eggs, laid a double yolker and it was about the size of a normal egg bless her xx
