Jeanne
My lovely new chucks are very settled. They took themselves off to bed a bit late last night, but at least they managed on their own. Will take pictures later of my lovely girls.

iChicken
Go on be brave and get out there! Here are a couple of pics of our girls looking rather sorry for themselves earlier today. I don't understand why they want to spend all day outside when its pouring down and blowing a gale instead of staying in their covered run. I tried shutting them in their run but they stood at the end thats uncovered and muddy squarking to be let out. http://club.omlet.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=22833 http://club.omlet.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=22830
Jeanne
Bless them. They look happy enough to me I covered my run so much I can only see them from the end lol. RIGHT, I am off with my camera to take pics!
iChicken
I covered my run so much I can only see them from the end lol. I was foolish and spent £20 on the Omlet winter cover instead of buying a 65p shower curtain from Ikea
Jeanne
Asda have smart price ones for 98p. I used the shower curtain hooks that came with it to extra secure the cover. So far, so good. I bought one from B*Q for a fiver as well before I knew about the cheap ones

Scooby
Awww bless, they look gorgeous. I've got an Omlet winter shade over my run but my girls prefer to stay in the shelter of the cube when it's bad weather like this! They are obviously very intelligent

AJuff
I covered my run in a green taurpaulin which is fab for keeping the wind, rain, sleet and snow out BUT I think it keeps too much daylight out too. This morning I folded it back in half so they are forced into more light but have a smaller dry space. Unfortunately we had snow and sleet here today not to mention the ferocious winds of 70mph! They are 26 weeks old and already laying when I bought them. They look lovely and snug in there Jeanne. Great names. Thank you Egluntine. They didn`t seem bothered by the wind today. Shame the same can`t be said of me.

The snow missed us today, but there was a blizzard where my kids go to school. I might give them tomorrow off. I hate driving in the white stuff!
