Helly Welly
...next week. We are staying with my parents in Hertfordshire and taking the tube into London. We'll be going to the King Tut exhibition, the Science museum, the natural history museum and the imperial war museum. Can't wait and Abi is very excited. It will take another week to catch up on here when i get back.
Guest
that's a heck of a lot to do in one day or are you spreading it out over a few days? the gunther von hagen exhibition is on at the science museum isn't it? I'd quite like to see that. We saw something similar at the winter gardens in Blackpool in 2004 by Dr Roy Glover http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3538030.stm but I'd love to see the Von Hagen's one, fascinating. The last time we were at the natural history museum, they had almost finished the automated life size T rex, bet that's really cool. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4360649.stm I love the musuems in London but you need a whole day for each one! Have a great time.

Aunty e
I'm such a slacker living in London, I've been thinking about doing all of those things, and have I ? NO. Have I even been to the Tower of London? no. Sounds great anyway! Reminds me that I was going to post on the forum to see if anyone wanted to come and stay in my house to feed the chickens for two weeks while I go on holiday in the summer. All the delights of London could be yours.... [bumbles off to check dates]
lisa33
Where abouts in Herts are you staying? If you are near Hitchin you are always welcome to pop in (if you're not too exhausted)

Cate in NZ
I'm another who lives close to London but I so rarely go in these days, it's a pity because I love it. The museums are briliiant (and free ) and some of the park's are lovely, although a lot of the typically touristy hings can get expensive. I hope that you have a brilliant time
